I’m a member of the Kelvin Grove branch, and a designer in the software industry. After working with the branch to support the Brisbane campaign, I’m keen to get more involved and help ensure our policy platform represents the interests of our community.
It goes without saying that many of the issues people face are ones that overlap & intersect, and as a result I’m interested in a wide variety of social and economic policy issues. Specifically, I am very passionate about social justice – support for marginalized groups (LGBTQ+ people, women and people of colour) is vitally important.

I’ve been a proud member of the Kelvin Grove/Newmarket Branch for over 5 years and have volunteered in 3 council, state and federal elections each. I have been a passionate advocate for policy development and reform, including pushing for increased advocacy for international human rights crises, privacy rights, government accountability and QPS conduct and responses to domestic violence.
I am running for Delegate because I want to continue pushing for meaningful policy development, particularly during this golden period between major elections and to ensure our platform represents grassroots party members. My primary policy concerns for this term are drug law reform, reviewing how complaints of misconduct are handled in the ALP, mental health services, and social and emergency housing.
Always happy to have a chat and keen to discuss how to make the most of our federal and state Labor governments.

I’m a proud early childhood educator since 1987, member of the United Workers Union, and long time member of the ALP.
I’ve fought for better conditions for early childhood educators with my union as a workplace delegate, and for a better future for our community as the Labor candidate for the Hamilton Ward in 2020. I want to represent our community at State Conference and ensure that the voices of our branch members are heard.
