I have always been a strong believer in Labor values. As a boy, my mother taught me the values of equality for all, no matter your background, gender or financial position.

I joined the Labor Party in 2012 following Campbell Newman’s savage cuts to the public sector in which I worked and continue to work as a Civil Engineer. I’ve actively campaigned in every QLD (2015, 2018, 2021) and federal campaign (2013, 2016, 2019, 2022), achieving an end to the Newman era, helping win a Labor seat on the Gold Coast, and delivering an Albanese Labor Government.

I’ve served Labor currently as branch President of Broadwater Branch and FEC President of Fadden. I’ve also served as State Conference Delegate for Fadden since 2018. During this time I have supported progressive policies, and at the 2021 conference, I made my debut speaking on the floor in support of an Anti-Discrimination motion. I am seeking re-election as a Delegate to continue to fight for fairness, a multicultural society, quality healthcare, improved public transport, education, workers’ rights and jobs!

I was appalled by the injustice of Robodebt, following the 2019 Federal election I joined the Australian Labor Party. I ran as the Labor candidate for Fadden in the 2022 Federal election, the ALP won 10 booths in 2022 up from 1 booth in 2019.

I am a Registered Nurse with experience in health, education, international relations and complex project management. For the past 15 years I have been a lecturer in nursing at Griffith Uni.

I have always been an advocate for progressive policies and law reform, including as elected President of the Public Health Association of Australia (Queensland Branch) 2019-2021. Following the decimation of health and social care services in Queensland, at the hands of the 2012 LNP government, I advocated for the reinstatement of services. I have appeared in Queensland state parliament as an expert witness on health, social care and aged care legislation and policy.

I want to continue my contribution to progressive policy as an ALP state conference delegate.

I joined the Australian Labor Party in 2016 after watching the rise of right-wing
extremist governments throughout western democracies. I knew that only progressive labor governments had the ability to deliver for working class Australians. In 2020 I had the privilege of serving as a campaign manager for Labors Coomera Campaign and saw Coomera become the second most marginal non held in the state. I’ve previously served as secretary of the Coomera branch, Vice President of the Coomera Branch, and as
secretary of the Forde FEC. I’m running for state conference delegate to see more action on climate change, affordable housing and to ensure that local branchies are represented at state conference.

I joined the Labor Party in 2019 because I was shocked by the election results and knew that the only way to help deliver Labor governments was to get involved.

In 2020 I was lucky enough to be the field organiser for Meaghan Scanlon for Gaven, an election which saw the re-election of a progressive woman and the Queensland Labor government.

For the 2022 federal election, I helped out on the Forde campaign, and am proud to be a part of electing an Albanese Labor government. I am also the President of Queensland Young Labor, Secretary of the Fadden FEC, and Vice President of Coomera Branch.

I’m running for state conference delegate because I want to see more action on affordable housing, climate change, renewable energy, and a secure future for all Australians.

As the long standing Coordinator of the Nerang Neighbourhood Centre, I see the devastating effects of Government legislation and policies right at the coalface and every day. The landscape as we know it has drastically changed and more and more people are living in crisis. We desperately need relevant and robust changes and I want to take the voices of the people I serve every day to that table.

With my Coordinator hat on, I am a member of the Gold Coast Homeless Network and am actively involved in the various offshoot working groups for food relief and sustaining tenancies on the Gold Coast. I am also the chairperson of the Pacific Indigenous Nations Network Gold Coast and Pasifika Pioneers Brisbane. I’m an active Coomera branch member, a new member of Multicultural Labor and have helped out on local Labor campaigns, such as the 2022 Forde campaign and the 2017 and 2020 Gaven campaigns.

I am excited at the prospect of our party to do some real good and I want to be part of that.
