I am a staunch advocate for the values of the Party and am proud to say that I was born to the Left. The Labor values spans back in my family history over 100 years. I am also involved within my union as an area delegate and I participate in a range of community groups. I regularly attend both union council and conference, so I am practised in the preceding of motions and policy development.
I am a Coomera Branch member, Rainbow Labor Committee member, and have been involved in many campaigns across the Gold Coast and Logan, such as Chris Johnson for Coomera. I’ve since moved to Logan Village with my partner.
I am a person with a lived experience of disability, a former postie, a lesbian woman, and a Collingwood tragic. These experiences have led me to become passionate about more support services for our LGBTIQ+ youth and people living with disability.

I have been a member of the ETU continuously since 1982 at the Queensland Boyne Smelter then Tasmania Renison Tin mine, as well as Pasminco and Kone elevators. I was a work place delegate at Pasminco for 8 years and delegate at Kone elevators for 5 years. In 2011 I joined the Labor party because I believe in working class values, such as collective bargaining and workers rights. I have since retired and am now an active member of Boonah Branch.
